Dr Biswal completed his MBBS from Veer Surendra Sai Medical College (VSS), Odisha, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. He further pursued DM in Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine from AIIMS, New Delhi, one of India’s foremost institutions for advanced medical training and research.

Currently, Dr Biswal serves as Director & Head of Department – Pulmonology at Shalby International Hospitals, Gurugram, where he leads the department in delivering advanced respiratory, critical care, and sleep medicine services. Prior to this, he has been associated with several renowned healthcare institutions, including Marengo Asia Hospital, Gurugram, FMRI Gurugram, Narayana Super-speciality Hospital, Gurugram, and Manipal Hospital, Dwarka, Delhi.

With nearly 22 years of experience, Dr Biswal has developed extensive expertise in managing complex respiratory disorders, critical care cases, and advanced pulmonary interventions. He is highly skilled in diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopy, bronchoscopic lavage, endobronchial and transbronchial lung biopsies, transbronchial needle aspiration (TBNA), airway stenting, EBUS-guided TBNA, Radial-EBUS, and semi-rigid thoracoscopy.
