
Dr Subodh Kumar
Dr Subodh Kumar is an accomplished professional with a strong multidisciplinary educational background and significant experience in the fields of computer science and psychology. He has a Ph.D. in Psychology, Master’s in Clinical Psychology, and BTech & MTech (gold medalist) in Computer Science & Engineering.
In his professional career, Dr Subodh has made notable contributions to various prestigious organizations. As a Project Scientist at Vigyan Prasar, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, he managed and updated a centralized repository of content related to science, technology, and innovation within the Indian STI ecosystem. He developed tailor-made content for diverse stakeholders, curated information about research projects and innovations, and facilitated the interface between scientists and researchers for knowledge and technology transfer.
At Brain Behaviour Research Foundation of India, Dr Subodh held multiple positions, including Joint Director (Operations), Deputy Director (Technical), Research Scientist, and Research Assistant. He was part of the founding team that developed and patented the innovative scientific method “4D Brain Analysis.” He played a key role in writing research papers, conducting surveys, and implementing strategies to promote the organization through online services such as internships, webinars, workshops, and tele-counseling. His efforts in organizing national-level programs have significantly advanced the foundation’s mission.
He continues to expand his expertise through continuous education, having completed courses in Cyber Security and Privacy from IIT Madras, Digital Marketing from Google among others. He is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), an editorial board member of the Journal of Psychosocial Well-being (JPSW) and Clinical Neuroscience & Neurological Research International Journal (CNNRIJ), ISSN: 2689-6001 and a life member of the Indian Academy of Health Psychology (IAHP) and the Indian Academy of Applied Psychology (IAAP).
Dr Subodh Kumar has empowered more than 2,000 students in psychology and computer science, conducted more than 3000 assessments, published more than 30 research papers in reputed journals, over 20 articles for the general public in various magazines and online platforms, and guided over 50 master’s students in their dissertations. Dr Kumar is committed to advancing scientific knowledge and making meaningful contributions to the scientific community through collaboration and innovation.
