Music as a Universal Tonic for the Soul

Music serves as a tonic for the soul. It makes a morose person cheerful and lifts the spirit of all old and young alike. People who love music and are always engaged in some or the other activity with music in the background are able to perform better in whatever task they are doing. Music also serves as a mandatory equipment to loud bands and baajas at baraats and wedding.

Music in Everyday Life – Enhancing Work and Celebrations

For my part, it may sound hilarious, but I can’t just help saying that music is the masala of my life. I, being always passionate about the art of cooking, constantly love to have music in the background to all my activities. I feel I am more relaxed in this manner and am able to concentrate at a higher level in whatever I am doing.

My Personal Bond with Music and Favourite Singers

Songs by my favourite singer Mukesh, Lata Mangeshkar, SD Burman, Hemant Kumar and so many more have the capacity to uplift my mood and spirit with their scintillating music and of course backed by the intoxicating voice behind.

Immortal Voices and the Legacy of Great Musicians

Down the ages there have been a majority of accomplished singers who are extremely talented in their field and their contribution to music will remain immortal and is noted in the pages of history to this day. Their voice renders a unique charm and substance to music. It is this magnificent combination of voice and music that leads to the success of a song and hence its popularity.

Music Beyond Barriers of Age, Caste, and Creed

Music is not confined to any caste or creed and of course age is no barrier. Both the old and the young get engrossed in the music of their choice, and some people even take to dancing vehemently to the notes of music. This practice is very common amongst youngsters who get lost in their own soulful world of dance and music.

The Healing and Motivating Power of Music

Such is the power of music that it makes an individual forget his grief. The vibration of music resounds in the atmosphere and cheers him up. It encourages him to pick up all his activities with more diligence. Marilyn Monroe has rightly said “music is the strongest form of magic.”

Instruments and Their Role in Music and Films

The commonest kinds of music, vocal as well as instrumental have gained popularity since time immemorial. There is no dearth of musical instrument – both in films and outside – the commonest being piano, guitar, sitar, harmonium, piano accordion etc. All these instruments have a prominent place in a few scenes of films where they are profusely needed. They have their individual role to play in that particular scene and rightly fit in their place.

Music – An Everlasting Light for Generations

All said and done, music is one particular field which will never grow dim with the passage of time. On the contrary, it will keep illuminating more and more as age advances and its light will always dazzle like the stars in the night sky and continue to do so till immortality. The coming generations will continue to imbibe its beauty and elegance and it goes beyond saying that whatever be the price, it has to be paid for raising music to still greater heights so that there is no shortcoming in this mission and men attain success through music.
